The back carry position is a game changer when it comes to babywearing, but it's important not to use it until your baby is ready! Here are a few checks to help you know when it's time. Baby should:
1. be at least 6 months old.
2. be large enough to sit comfortably in the widest seat setting on your carrier. This means that they are fully supported from knee to knee, with full range of motion at the knee.
3. be able to support their head independently.
Here is a video demonstrating our recommended method of getting baby into a back carry position: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AXfKGFNRNk
